Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme with nearly 80 billion € of funding available over 7
years (2014 to 2020). Apart from classic research projects, Horizon 2020 also funds innovation projects and pilot-projects
in different fields. The programme is divided into three different sections:

Description of call " Digital security, privacy, data protection and accountability in critical sectors" | In the context of an increased
digitization and also of growing complexity of cyber-attacks, the following sectors/subsectors are identified as critical:
energy, transport, banking, financial market infrastructures, health sector, drinking water supply and distribution, and digital
infrastructure. These sectors are important customers of cybersecurity solutions; hence it is of outmost importance to facilitate
the engagement of end-users towards defining and providing sector-specific common requirements about digital security, privacy
and personal data protection in finance. Proposals should focus on the following sub-topics:
