Description of call
"Aviation operations impact on climate change (InCo flagship)"
The overall goal of this Call for Proposals is to address mitigation strategies that will minimise the negative climate change impact by aviation in the short-medium term and that are relevant for greener flight trajectories and operations. Proposals must focus on one or more of the following issues:
  1. Contribute to the international state-of-the-art
  2. Propose and evaluate mitigation strategies towards operational improvements
  3. Propose and evaluate mitigation strategies towards greener flight trajectories
  4. Propose and evaluate mitigation strategies based on the use of alternative jet fuel pathways that have been approved under or intended to apply for the ASTM D7566 approval standard
