Building Open Science platforms in transport research
Description of call
"Building Open Science platforms in transport research "
Open Science aims at changing the traditional way of sharing research results to create an environment where knowledge is shared at every stage of the process. Its practical impact is still to be understood, in particular in the area of transport research. Actions should lead to setting up a community of transport research organisations able to work on an agreed Open Science Code of Conduct. Proposals should identify stakeholders analysing their practices; map the existing research data infrastructures, scientific clouds, governance and new operational/business models being used; create a forum to exchange idea and best practices; identify the main challenges and opportunities of the sector; identify and engage international partners; design a code of conduct for implementing Open Science principles in transport research in Europe.
