"Creative Europe"

Creative Europe's stated aims are to help the cultural and creative sectors seize the opportunities of the digital age and globalisation, enable the sectors to reach their economic potential, contributing to sustainable growth, jobs, and social cohesion, and to give Europe's culture and media sectors access to new international opportunities, markets, and audiences.
This will, amongst others, involve funding for:

  • artists and cultural professionals
  • cinemas
  • films
  • book translations

Description of programme
"Culture"
Under the Culture sub-programme, opportunities exist for:
  • Cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
  • Initiatives to translate and promote literary works across the European Union;
  • Networks helping the cultural and creative sector to operate competitively and transnationally;
  • Establishing platforms to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and artistic works.

Description of call
"Call for proposals: Cultural Cooperation Projects in the Western Balkans 2019"
The overall objective of this Call is to foster reconciliation and good neighbourly relations in the Western Balkans through cultural cooperation and creation focucing on the following priorities:
• Increase the capacity of cultural and creative industries to operate transnationally and internationally;
• Increase transnational circulation of cultural and creative works and transnational mobility of cultural and creative players;
• Enhance inter-cultural dialogue between artists, cultural operators as well as the general public.

Project Partner Details
The partnership must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
• at least 2 organisations (project leader and/or partners) established in at least 2 different Western Balkan IPA II beneficiaries;
• at least 2 organisations of the partnership (project leader and/or partners) established in at least 2 different EU Member States.
Further info Activities must start between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021
-The minimum project duration is of 24 months.
-The maximum project duration is of 48 months.
