Description of programme
"Justice"

The general objective of the Programme shall be to contribute to the further development of a European area of justice based on mutual recognition and mutual trust, in particular by promoting judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters. The Programme focuses on the following Specific Objectives:

  • to facilitate and support judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters
  • to support and promote judicial training, including language training on legal terminology, with a view to fostering a common legal and judicial culture
  • to facilitate effective access to justice for all, including to promote and support the rights of victims of crime, while respecting the rights of the defence
  • to support initiatives in the field of drugs policy as regards judicial cooperation and crime prevention aspects closely linked to the general objective of the Programme

Description of call
"Call for proposals to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance and to monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online"
This call for proposals will focus on the following priorities:
Priority 1. To prevent and combat racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance;
Priority 2. To monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online;
Priority 3. Restricted to public authorities: to improve responses to racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance at national, regional and local level.

Applicant details
To be eligible under the first and second priority:
 
- The applicant and the partners must be public bodies or private organisations or international organisations. Organisations that are profit-oriented may only submit applications in partnership with public bodies or private non-profit organisations.
 
To be eligible under the third priority:
 
- The applicant must be public authorities of one of the countries participating in the Programme; partners must be public bodies or private organisations or international organisations.
