Description of call
"Call to increase law enforcement cooperation to address migrant smuggling"
The objective of the projects to be funded are to enhance the prevention and fight against the smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings by establishing Common Operational Partnerships (COPs) that would support structured cooperation between competent law enforcement authorities, judicial authorities and other relevant services of the participating EU Member States and third countries. Through the establishment of a COP, the project should aim to achieve one or more of the following outcomes:
  • Enhanced mutual trust and cooperation internationally, regionally and nationally between different agencies
  • Improved institutional and operational setting
  • Improved information exchange between partner law enforcement agencies

Applicant details Public bodies established in third countries may participate, but only as co-applicants.

Project Partner Details In order to be eligible for a grant, applications must be transnational, i.e. involving at least two entities established in two different EU Member States participating in the ISF Police instrument, or at least one EU Member State participating in the ISF Police instrument and one third country
