Call | Demonstration of novel concepts for the management of pandemic crises |
Description of call "Demonstration of novel concepts for the management of pandemic crises" | Large-scale pandemics are a real threat today because we live in a globalized world. An exploratory phase was opened in 2014 to address the feasibility of strengthening capacity-building for health and security protection in case of big pandemics. The resulting project issued recommendations and gaps to be addressed and proposed some innovative concepts to integrate existing tools and systems for health and security protection in these circumstances. Now it’s time for demonstrations to assess new concepts supporting cross-border emergency approaches to strengthen and speed up the response to pandemics in line with Decision 10822013/EU and the International Health Regulations. |
