Description of programme
"Connecting Europe Facility"
The CEF shall enable projects of common interest to be prepared and implemented within the framework of the transeuropean networks policy in the sectors of transport, telecommunications and energy. In particular, the CEF shall support the implementation of those projects of common interest which aim at the development and construction of new infrastructures and services, or at the upgrading of existing infrastructures and services, in the three sectors.

"CEF - Telecom"

In the telecommunications sector, the CEF shall support actions that pursue the objectives specified in a Regulation on guidelines for trans-European networks in the area of telecommunications infrastructure.

eIdentification and eSignature (eID)
Description of call
"eIdentification and eSignature (eID)"

Under this call, proposals will be funded that address one or more of the following four objectives:
A. eIdentification:
1. eID DSI integration: Integrating the eID DSI (Digital Service Infrastructures) in existing e-services/systems/online platforms in various public or private sectors.
2. Attributes enablement: Enabling attributes, mandates and authorities to be associated with electronic identities for cross-border use through the eIDAS node.
3. Student mobility: Supporting student mobility by enabling students to identify themselves in a trusted manner across borders and thus benefit from the 'Once Only Principle' in higher education institutions.
B. eSignature:
4. Uptake and reuse of eSignature: Developing systems for Member States and the private sector for the use of electronic signatures and electronic seals in line with the eIDAS Regulation.
