"Creative Europe"

Creative Europe's stated aims are to help the cultural and creative sectors seize the opportunities of the digital age and globalisation, enable the sectors to reach their economic potential, contributing to sustainable growth, jobs, and social cohesion, and to give Europe's culture and media sectors access to new international opportunities, markets, and audiences.
This will, amongst others, involve funding for:

  • artists and cultural professionals
  • cinemas
  • films
  • book translations

Description of programme
"Culture"
Under the Culture sub-programme, opportunities exist for:
  • Cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
  • Initiatives to translate and promote literary works across the European Union;
  • Networks helping the cultural and creative sector to operate competitively and transnationally;
  • Establishing platforms to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and artistic works.

European Heritage Stories
Description of call
"European Heritage Stories"
The European Heritage Days (EHD) are the biggest annual event of the EU, celebrated by millions of people in 50 European states. Every visitor of these events represents a unique European story and it is the aim of the EHD to give a voice to passionate individuals, organisations and associations to tell their story of Europe in the heritage they cherish.
Applicants will be asked to choose one of the following categories for their story:
(1) Diversity; (2) Cross-frontier collaboration; (3) Education; (4) Community engagement; (5) Youth-oriented
Further, they will be asked to indicate a category of heritage:
(1) Tangible heritage (physical objects, places, monuments etc.); (2) Intangible heritage (practices, knowledge, skills, etc.); (3) Natural heritage; (4) Digital heritage
For all stories it is important to mention the European dimension of it.

Further info On 30.06.2018, a maximum of 25 stories eligible to receive a grant will be pre-selected and asked to deliver a more detailed total budget and project proposal until 31.07.2018.
