The Internal Security Fund (ISF) promotes the implementation of the Internal Security Strategy, law enforcement cooperation and the management of the Union's external borders. The ISF is composed of two instruments, ISF Borders and Visa and ISF Police.

Part of the ISF Police fund is managed by the Commission (direct and indirect management) through Union Actions, which include Calls for Proposals, Procurement, Direct Awards and Delegation Agreements.

Description of call
"Fight against Firearms Trafficking"
The main priority of the call is to enhance operational cooperation between EU Member States or EU Member States and third countries located along firearms trafficking routes to and from the EU, such as East and South East Europe and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries, notably by supporting joint initiatives on
knowledge, detection, investigation and prosecution of firearms trafficking.
