Description of call
"Harnessing and understanding the impacts of changes in urban mobility on policy making by city-led innovation for sustainable urban mobility"
Mobility is a sector in transition but the policy impacts of the new mobility solutions are not clear yet therefore research is necessary. For research and innovative actions impacts of new mobility solutions, addressing the changing mobility patterns and set up of mobility services covering all relevant transport modes (including active modes) and vehicle types should be examined. Coordination and support actions should address knowledge exploitation and the importance of cooperation in the CIVITAS framework. Proposals should be innovative addressing the need for local capacity building and training on mobility, enhancing cooperation between cities and stakeholders, partnering with industry and civil society to face the transition, implementing communication strategies.
