Description
of programme "Rights, Equality and Citizenship" | The general objective of the Programme shall be to contribute, in accordance with Article 4 of the Treaty on the EU (TEU), to the further development of an area where equality and the rights of persons as enshrined in the TEU, in the Treaty of the Functioning of the EU (TFEU), in the Charter of fundamental rights of the EU and in the international human rights conventions to which the Union has acceded, are promoted, protected and effectively implemented. The Programme follows 9 Specific objectives:

Description of call "Improve the awareness on EU citizenship rights and inclusion of mobile EU citizens and to support coordination among national authorities competent in electoral matters" | This call
focus on the following priorities: • Priority 1: To enhance and develop citizenship of the Union. More specifically, to promote awareness, gather data and build knowledge concerning EU citizenship
rights and associated European common values and common democratic standards; foster the inclusion and provision of information
to mobile EU citizens and their family members; encourage democratic participation of mobile EU citizens and under-represented
groups • Priority 2: Support national cooperation networks responsible for
bringing together the national authorities and bodies involved in elections. More specifically, to support the integrity
of free and fair elections in Europe, preserving the democratic institutions and citizens’ participation in them. Coordination
within and among such networks could lead in particular to the establishment of common working methods to detect and address
threats to elections (potentially setting up alert systems), best practices and guidelines. |
