"Interreg Alpine Space"

The Alpine Space is composed of territories with contrasted demographic, social and economic trends and a great cultural and linguistic diversity. This diversity goes along with a great variety of governance systems and traditions. Both the common specificities of the Alpine Space and its variety and diversity call for cooperation. The Programme aims to boost research, technological development and innovation; contribute to support the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors; protect the environment and promote resource efficiency ; enhance institutional capacity and an efficient public administration

The programme will focus on four main priorities:

  • PA1 - Innovative Alpine Space
  • PA2 - Low Carbon Alpine Space
  • PA3 - Liveable Alpine Space
  • PA4 - Well-governed Alpine Space

Further info This Call follows a two-step application procedure. Until December 12th an expression of interest shall be submitted. Selected project proposals will be invited to submit their complete application from the end of March until June 5th 2019.

Total programme budget: 139.8 million €
The budget is allocated as follows:
  • PA1 - 37.3 million €
  • PA2 - 31.5 million €
  • PA3 - 31.4 million €
  • PA4 - 9.3 million €

Co-financing rate: max. 85%
In principle the project budget shall be adequate to what the project partners want to achieve.
