"Interreg Romania – Hungary"

This Programme aims at creating employment, enhancing disaster resiliance, protecting joint values and resources and at addressing jointly the challenges of deprived areas. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme focuses on the following Priority Axes (PA):

  • PA1 - Joint protection and efficient use of common values and resources
  • PA2 - Improve sustainable cross-border mobility and remove bottlenecks
  • PA3 - Improve employment and promote cross-border labour market 
  • PA4 - Improve health-care services
  • PA5 - Improve risk-prevention and disaster management
  • PA6 - Promote cross-border cooperation between institutions and citizens

Description of call
"Interreg Romania - Hungary: 3rd Restricted Call for Strategic Project Proposals"
The Restricted Call for Proposals is intended for projects of strategic value, that address the most important needs of the Romanian – Hungarian border region and for projects which are in line with the relevant national, regional or county strategies and which have the capacity to produce a high impact and improve the quality of life in the border area.
This Call is open for proposals for the following Investment Priorities (IP):
  • IP 6/c - Conserving, protecting, promoting and developing natural and cultural heritage
  • IP 7/c - Developing and improving environmentally-friendly transport systems (including low noise and low-carbon)
  • IP 8/b - Supporting employment-friendly growth through the development of endogenous potential
