"Key Action 3 – Supporting Policy Reform"

This Key Action supports initiatives for policy innovation aimed to develop new policies or prepare their implementation. They include specific calls for proposals managed by the Executive Agency on:

  • Knowledge in the fields of education, training and youth, involving evidence gathering, analysis and peer learning
  • forward-looking cooperation projects on policy development

  • European policy experimentations, led by high-level public authorities and involving field trials in several countries based on sound evaluation methods.

  • Cooperation with international organisationssuch as the OECD and the Council of Europe
  • Promote dialogue with stakeholders and support to programmes and policies within public authorities, providers and stakeholders in the fields of education, vocational training and youth

"European policy experimentation"

European policy experimentations under Erasmus+ key action 3 (Support for policy reform) -  initiatives for policy innovation are transnational cooperation projects supporting the implementation of the European Union policy agendas on education, training and youth, including sector-specific agendas such as the Bologna and Copenhagen processes.

 

The general objective of this call for proposals is to promote the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of education and training systems and youth policies through the collection and evaluation of evidence on the systemic impact of innovative policy measures. This call requires the involvement of high-level public authorities of the eligible countries and the use of sound and widely recognised evaluation methods based on field trials (experimentation)

Description of call
"Joint qualifications in vocational education and training"
The specific objective of the call is to support the preparation and setting up of joint VET qualifications or the improvement of such existing qualifications. The transnational qualifications should comprise strong work-based learning and a mobility component, address learning outcomes, quality assurance and proper recognition while making use of relevant European tools and instruments.
