"Rights, Equality and Citizenship"

The general objective of the Programme shall be to contribute, in accordance with Article 4 of the Treaty on the EU (TEU), to the further development of an area where equality and the rights of persons as enshrined in the TEU, in the Treaty of the Functioning of the EU (TFEU), in the Charter of fundamental rights of the EU and in the international human rights conventions to which the Union has acceded, are promoted, protected and effectively implemented. The Programme follows 9 Specific objectives:

  1. Promote non–discrimination
  2. Combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance
  3. Promote rights of persons with disabilities
  4. Promote equality between women and men and gender mainstreaming
  5. Prevent violence against children, young people, women and other groups at risk (Daphne)
  6. Promote the rights of the child
  7. Ensure the highest level of data protection
  8. Promote the rights deriving from Union citizenship
  9. Enforce consumer rights

Description of call
"Operating grants 2019 to Framework Partners active in the area of disability"
Organisations that have signed the Framework Partnership Agreement for the period 2018-2021 can apply for Operating Grants to support the Commission in promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities, to
ensure that people with disabilities can fully enjoy their rights. There are several priorities the proposed activities can focus on and five specific initiatives applicants should contribute to. These priorities and specific initiatives can be found in detail in the Call-document.
