Description of programme
"Rural Development Slovakia"
This Programme aims to increase of competitiveness of agriculture and forestry sectors whilst ensuring the appropriate management of natural resources and encouraging climate friendly farming practices and to protect biodiversity, soil and  water resources. The Programme also focuses on boosting the rural economy through investments in enterprises, including innovative cooperation projects, infrastructure and human resources via training, advisory services and local services to the population, including integration of marginalized communities. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme focuses on the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA1 - Knowledge transfer and innovation
  • PA2 - Competitiveness
  • PA3 - Food chain
  • PA4 - Ecosystems management
  • PA5 - Resource efficiency and climate
  • PA6 - Social inclusion and local development
