Description of programme
"ESF - Social inclusion and social economy - Spain"
The programme is based on three guiding principles: active inclusion to enable every citizen, notably the most disadvantaged, to fully participate in society and have a better chance on the labour market; social economy as a key element to counteract the negative impact of the current economic and social situation in Spain; and, finally, the importance of adopting an integrated approach that links different policy areas and favours synergies between the ESF and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme focuses on the following Thematic Objectives (TO):
  • TO8 - Employment and labour market Mobility;
  • TO9 - Social Inclusion.
