Data Privacy Statement

The protection of your personal data is of the highest importance to us. Therefore, we process your data solely within the framework of the new Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR). With the following, we would like to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing exclusively on the basis of the processing of your orders, if registered for the use of your account and if desired for the dispatch of our newsletter.
 
Getting in touch
Whenever you send us an email, the data you provide are stored for six months to be able to handle your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on these data without your consent. 
 
Web Analysis
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. The relationship to the web analysis provider is based on the “Privacy Shield” Agreement between the EU and the USA.
The data are being processed within the legal framework of Austria and the GDPR.
Our intention regarding the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and web content. Since we care about our users’ privacy, user data are pseudonymized. User data are being stored for a duration of 26 months.

Registration / Deregistration
You can register on our website and create a personal account. After clicking on “register”, you can enter your data. We collect and process data such as your title, first name, last name, organization, user name and email address. After having accepted our terms and conditions, you will receive an email with a link to click on if you wish to activate your account. Do not give your login data to third parties.
By clicking on “deregister” or by sending an email to with the text “Deletion of the user profile EuroAccess Macro-Regions” you can delete your profile completely at any time. Personal data being processed for the reasons stated above will be stored until you deregister.
 
Newsletter
After registering on our website, you can sign up for our newsletter. To be able to send you targeted information on current calls or on the “topics of interest” and “countries of interest” which you defined, we also need a confirmation that you are in favor of receiving our newsletter and optionally also the information you provided on “topics of interest” and “countries of interest”.
You can always unsubscribe from our newsletter. The link with which to unsubscribe can be found at the end of every newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send an email saying “Unsubscribe from the Euro-Access Macro-Regions Newsletter” to . Personal data being processed for the reasons stated above will be stored until you deregister.
 
Your rights
As a concerned party, you have a right to obtain information on the data being processed. If you believe that your data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request a correction or supplement. In addition, you have the right to request a deletion of data that you think are being wrongly processed (if we have no right or obligation to further process such data, we will immediately comply with such a request). Furthermore, you have the right to demand the restriction of processing or to object to the processing, as well as to file a complaint against data processing with the data protection authority, www.dsb.gv.at.
