Description of programme "ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin"	The ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme focuses on two Overall Objectives (OO) and four related Thematic Objectives (TO). OO A - Promote economic and social development through: TO1 - Business and SME development TO2 - Support to education, research, technological development and innovation TO3 - Promotion of social inclusion and the fight against poverty OO B - Address common challenges in the environment through: TO4 - Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation Apart from following these priorities, projects are expected to focus their cooperation on "people-to-people" efforts and institutional capacity building.

Applicant details	Applicants and partners from Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs) are eligible only if their countries have signed the Financing Agreement with the EC, before the closing date of the Call for proposals. The updated list of the MPCs having signed the Financing Agreement is available at: www.enicbcmed.eu Actors located in adjoining regions can participate only as co-applicants in project proposals and under the condition that there is a clear benefit for the project. The detailed list of adjoining regions can be found in the programme document. Participants from the Lisbon Region have to focus on the Overarching Objective 1.
