"Fostering a competitive and sustainable economy to meet our challenges - Malta"
The overall aim of this National Operational Programme is to contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Malta. In order to achieve this objective, the Programme is divided into the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA1 - Investing in research, technological development and innovation
  • PA2 - Consolidating investment within the ICT sector
  • PA3 - Enhancing Malta‚Äôs competitiveness through investment in SMEs
  • PA4 - Shifting towards a low-carbon economy
  • PA5 - Protecting our environment - investing in natural and cultural assets
  • PA6 - Sustainable Urban Development
  • PA7 - Shifting towards a more low-carbon transport sector
  • PA8 - Investing towards a more socially-inclusive society
  • PA9 - Developing our future through education, training and lifelong learning
  • PA10 - Investing in a more environmentally-friendly society
  • PA11 - Investing in TEN-T Infrastructure
