"Interreg Czech Republic – Poland"
The cooperation programme Interreg V-A in the Czech Republic and Poland addresses the most important cross-border challenges and taps into the potential of eight Czech-Polish border regions. The programme focuses mainly on regional and local projects with cross-border importance. Only projects with a significant positive impact on the Czech and Slovak border areas will be selected for funding.

The programme funds projects within four priority areas:

  • PA 1: Joint risk management
    • Investment priority: Enhance cross-border action to deal with emergencies and crisis situations
    • Target: Supporting investments to address specific risks, ensuring disaster resilience and developing crisis management systems.
  • PA 2: Developing the natural and cultural resources potential to support employment
    • Investment Priority: Promoting growth-enhancing employment by developing internal potential as part of a territorial strategy for specific areas, including the transformation of declining industrial areas and improving the availability and development of special natural and cultural resources
    • Target: Increase in attendance of the region through greater use of the potential of natural and cultural resources
  • PA 3: Education and qualification
    • Investment Priority: Investing in education, training and training to acquire skills and lifelong learning by developing and implementing joint education, training and training programs
    • Target: Improving the employment level of graduates
  • PA 4: Cooperation between institutions and communities
    • Investment Priority: Strengthening the institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and effective public administration by promoting legal and administrative cooperation and cooperation between citizens and institutions
    • Target: Increasing the intensity of cooperation between institutions and communities in the border region

Project Partner Details

The principle of a leading partner, who is responsible for project implementation and must have at least one project partner on the other side of the border.

Fulfilment of at least 3 first of the below cooperation criteria:

  • joint project preparation
  • joint project implementation
  • joint project financing
  • joint project staff
Applicant details

Suitable beneficiaries: public authorities and their associations and groupings, organisations established and founded by public authorities, educational institutions including universities, economic and professional chambers, associations and groupings, associations and groupings operating in the area of tourism, churches and religious communities, non-governmental non-profit organisations, European grouping of territorial cooperation.

Financial details Total OP budget: 266 143 190 €
Total EU contribution: 226 221 710 €

For projects below a total value of 120.000 € a micro-finance tool is in place within the funding programme.
