"Interreg Germany – Denmark"
Interreg Germany Denmark aims to further develop the German-Danish border region. The partner countries have agreed to focus on the following 4 Priorities:
  • Priority 1: Innovation
    • Specific Objective: to increase product-, process-, and social innovation
  • Priority 2: Sustainable development
    • Specific Objective: to increase use of sustainable resources and energy sources in companies of the programme area
  • Priority 3: Job market, employment and skilled labour
    • Specific Objective: to increase the mobility for the cross-border job market
  • Priority 4: Functional cooperation
    • Specific Objective: to increase cross-border institutional capacity in the programme area, specifically in tourism, traffic, logistics, coast protection, hazard prevention, and health

Financial details Total budget: 90 million €
Co-financing rate: max. 60% / Projects concerning culture and tourism can be funded with 75% if certain criteria are fulfilled. More detailed information can be found in the programme document.
