Description of programme
"Interreg Italy – Malta"
This Interreg Programme aims to develop the potential of the border area between Italy and Malta through cross-border cooperation in areas of common interest, such as environmental protection, cultural heritage, security of land and sea and quality of life and health of citizens. In order to achieve this goal, the Programme focuses on the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA 1 - Promoting the smart and sustainable growth through research and innovation
  • PA 2 - Promoting the competitiveness in the cross-border area
  • PA 3 - Protecting the environment and fostering efficient use of resources
