"Regions in Growth Bulgaria"

Operational Programme “Regions in Growth” 2014-2020 is  focused on regional development and in particular aims at achieving the objectives of the urban policy of Bulgaria, applying a special focus on energy efficiency   and on strengthening and developing of the polycentric system of the country.

OPRG 2014-2020  consists of  7 priority axes, as follows: 

  • Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development
  • Support for Energy Efficiency in support centers in peripheral areas
  • Regional Educational Infrastructure
  • Regional Health Infrastructure
  • Regional Social Infrastructure
  • Regional Tourism
  • Regional road infrastructure.

Project Partner Details

For PA 1 and PA 2- if the national institutions and the owners of apartment units want to apply they have to be in partnership with the local authority;

Applicant details

Municipality\Local authorities, national institutions or owners of apartment units, schools, universities (with defined profiles), cultural and art centers, Health Ministry, Municipalities and Ministry of Health, Municipalities\ Ministry of Culture (when applicable in partnership with NGOs) as well as religious institution, National agency "Road Infrastructure".

Financial details

85 % financed by the ERDF and 15 % by the applicant.
