Description of programme
"ROP Epirus"
The overall objective of this Regional Operational Programme is to increase the quality of life in Epirus and to make the region more competitive and outward-looking. It specifically focuses on creating employment and on promoting social inclusion. The Programme also aims to support SMEs in becoming more competitive and innovation-driven. Lastly, it will also support the improvement of waste water treatment and energy efficiency. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme is divided into the following Priority Axes (PA): 
  • PA1 - Strengthening regional competitiveness with the development of innovation and ICT
  • PA2 - Environmental protection and sustainable development
  • PA3 - Support for transport infrastructure
  • PA4 - Strengthening education, health and welfare infrastructure
  • PA5 - Human resources development, social inclusion and fight against discrimination
