Description of programme
"ROP South Aegean"
The overall objective of this Regional Operational Programme is to boost economic development and to create employment in the islands of South Aegean. Furthermore, it seeks to support SMEs in order to increase their competitiveness and to become more outward-looking. Lastly, it also aims to tackle the issue of water supply and to increase energy efficiency. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme focuses on the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA1 - Enhancing competitiveness and innovation
  • PA2 - Sustainable development and resource management
  • PA3 - Improving basic infrastructure
  • PA4 - Promoting social inclusion - Human resource development
  • PA5 - Strengthening regional cohesion
