"Connecting Europe Facility"
The CEF shall enable projects of common interest to be prepared and implemented within the framework of the transeuropean networks policy in the sectors of transport, telecommunications and energy. In particular, the CEF shall support the implementation of those projects of common interest which aim at the development and construction of new infrastructures and services, or at the upgrading of existing infrastructures and services, in the three sectors.

In the telecommunications sector, the CEF shall support actions that pursue the objectives specified in a Regulation on guidelines for trans-European networks in the area of telecommunications infrastructure.

Description of call
The call aims to provide support to the adoption of compliant eInvoicing solutions by public and private entities, which will facilitate the implementation of the European standard on electronic invoicing (EN) and the set of ancillary standardisation deliverables, as mandated by the eInvoicing Directive. Under this call, proposals will be funded that address one or more of the following three objectives:
  1. Uptake of eInvoicing solutions in the countries lagging behind in terms of eInvoicing maturity
  2. Update of existing eInvoicing solutions to achieve compliance with the EN and its ancillary deliverables
  3. Implement innovative solutions that allow advanced eInvoicing/eProcurement functionalities using the EN to be achieved
