Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme with nearly 80 billion € of funding available over 7
years (2014 to 2020). Apart from classic research projects, Horizon 2020 also funds innovation projects and pilot-projects
in different fields. The programme is divided into three different sections:

Description
of call "Open schooling and collaboration on science education" | Currently, there are not enough European citizens who are science-knowledgeable even though people's willingness to inform themselves and to learn is high. Proposals under this call should therefore focus on creating new partnerships in local communities and on improving science education for all citizens. Applicants should propose a wide range of activities including different education institutions in order to integrate the concept of open schooling (including all educational levels) in science education. |

Applicant details | All legal entities located in the EU or in Third Countries can participate in Horizon 2020. |
Project Partner Details | As a principle all projects (except coordination and support activities) must comprise at least 3 partners from at least 3 EU Member States or other eligible countries. |
Further info | This call follows a two-stage submission procedure. For the first stage, a short proposal of max. 10 pages needs to be submitted. Maximum 3 months after the submission, the applicants selected will be notified and invited to submit their full proposal until 07.11.2019 |
