Description of programme
"European Maritime and Fisheries Fund"
The overall objective of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) is to promote the fundamental objective of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), which is to contribute to the improvement of the economic, environmental and social performance of the European fisheries sector. Furthermore, EMFF also aims to boost further growth in all European maritime sectors through targeted research and smart investment. In order to achieve these objectives, EMFF is divided into the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA1 - Sustainable fisheries
  • PA2 - Sustainable aquaculture
  • PA3 - Implementing the CFP
  • PA4 - Marketing and processing
  • PA5 - Employment and territorial cohesion
  • PA6 - Integrated maritime policy

Blue Labs
Description of call
"Blue Labs"
This Call aims to support "Blue Labs" which refers in this case to the collaboration of young scientists, experienced researchers and local stakeholders who work towards the development of innovative technologies, products and services that support a sustainable blue economy and contribute to preserving marine resources and ecosystems. Proposals have to address one of the following topics:
  • Blue bio-remediation
  • Unexploded ordnances at sea
  • Innovative marina and leisure boat design
  • Marine biomass and blue-bioeconomy
  • Ecofriendly aquaculture
