short description
The Euroregion PRO EUROPA VIADRINA offers within the framework of the cooperation program INTERREG VI A Brandenburg - Poland 2021-2027 to German and Polish interested parties for the funding of cross-border "small projects" in priority 4.
Call objectives
The following priorities and specific objectives were developed as part of the program:
- P4: A dialog-oriented border region: cooperation between residents and institutions
- SO 4.1: Improving the institutional capacity of public authorities, in particular those responsible for the management of a given territory, and of stakeholders (all strands)
Expected results
The following (non-exhaustive list) measures are proposed in the program:
P4: A dialogue-oriented border region: cooperation between residents and institutions
- SO 4.1: Improving the institutional capacities of public authorities, in particular those responsible for managing a specific area, and of stakeholders (all fields of action)
- Promotion of cross-border cooperation and networking between local authorities and other stakeholders, with the aim of developing and implementing cross-border strategies, concepts, action plans and solutions for the further cross-border integration of the program area, including in particular
- legal-administrative solutions for cross-border public passenger transport
- legal-administrative solutions that enable the cross-border use of healthcare services
- Cooperation in the area of security, order and prevention to create permanent joint structures and networks
- cross-border exchange of knowledge and experience and support for the transfer of best practice from other border regions on issues of cross-border cooperation
- Networking of potential project sponsors in order to activate and use further European, national and regional funding policies and funding programs for cross-border cooperation
- Coordinated collection, processing and provision of information on all issues relating to cross-border everyday and economic life, including the cross-border labor market, as well as the development and introduction of information and advice services for different target groups (e.g. living, working and studying)
- Promotion of cross-border cooperation and networking between local authorities and other stakeholders, with the aim of developing and implementing cross-border strategies, concepts, action plans and solutions for the further cross-border integration of the program area, including in particular

Project Partnership
For projects implemented as part of a project partnership, at least one project partner must be from Brandenburg and one from Poland.
The lead partner principle does not apply to small projects. As the final recipient of the KPF, the applicant bears full responsibility for the implementation and accounting of the project. In justified cases, organizations from outside the programme area may also submit an application or participate in a project.
The projects must bring benefits for the funding area and its residents. This benefit is measured by the extent to which it contributes to achieving the specific objectives of the program.
A project carried out outside the eligible area can be funded if the project application demonstrates the positive impact and clear benefit of the measures carried out outside the eligible area for the eligible area.
The following principles of cooperation apply:
- Joint development (mandatory)
- Joint implementation (mandatory)
- Joint personnel
Project partners can be legal entities as well as organizational units that are not legal entities but have legal capacity. In particular:
- Units of state, regional and local administration, associations of these units and their subordinate institutions,
- An organization under public or private law,
- Non-profit non-governmental organizations, associations and social and economic partner organizations in accordance with applicable national law,
- European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC).

Program area:
- on the Polish side: the districts of Gorzowski, Miedzyrzecki, Słubicki, Strzelecko-Drezdenecki, Sulęciński and the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski
- on the German side: Märkisch-Oderland and Oder-Spree districts and the city of Frankfurt (Oder).

Applications with the required attachments are submitted to the Euroregion office. Applications can be submitted electronically.
The application fields must be completed in Polish and German. The content in both languages must be identical.
