The Interreg NEXT Romania-Moldova Programme is open for standard project applications in all three priorities, and all specific objectives of the Programme (except Objective 3.1).

- Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention and resilience, taking into account eco-system based approaches
- Enhancing protection and preservation of nature biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution
- Social Development across Borders
- Improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through developing accessible infrastructure, including by fostering resilience for distance and on-line education and training
- Ensuring equal access to health care and fostering resilience of health systems, including primary care, and promoting the transition from institutional to family-based and community- based care
- Enhancing the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation

Project Partnership
To be eligible, a partnership must meet the following criteria:
- A maximum of 4 partners (including the applicant) participate in the project.
- At least one project partner is registered in Romania and one partner is registered in the Republic of Moldova.
Each project must clearly demonstrate the cooperation of the project partners - this will be verified through the four cooperation criteria:
- Joint preparation (mandatory)
- Joint implementation (mandatory)
- Joint financing (mandatory)
- Joint staff (optional)
There are no restrictions for one organisation to participate in more than one project under this call for proposals. However, please ensure that the respective organisation has the necessary operational and financial capacity to implement all the projects submitted, if they are all selected for proposals.

The programme area of Interreg VI-A NEXT Romania-Moldova covers the programme area of the
- four Romanian counties of Botoșani, Iași, Vaslui, and Galați, and
- the whole territory of the Republic of Moldova.
- Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention and resilience, taking into account eco-system based approaches: between € 1,100,000.00 and € 1,500,000.00
- Enhancing protection and preservation of nature biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution: between € 300,000.00 and € 700,000.00
Social Development across Borders
- Improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning through developing accessible infrastructure, including by fostering resilience for distance and on-line education and training: between € 450,000.00 and € 850,000.00
- Ensuring equal access to health care and fostering resilience of health systems, including primary care, and promoting the transition from institutional to family-based and community- based care: between € 500,000.00 and € 1,500,000.00
- Enhancing the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation: between € 500,000.00 and € 1,500,000.00
Cooperation across borders
- Border crossing management and mobility and migration management: between € 400,000.00 and € 600,000.00

Applications can be submitted exclusively via the Joint electronic monitoring system (JEMS), unless otherwise instructed by the Managing Authority.
When filling in the online Application Form, the Applicants are required:
- To fill in each field, and to follow the given sequence. Please note that some information is taken over from one field to another, thus making the process easier and error-proof.
- To formulate only one specific objective per project.
- Notice that the project budget is an integral part of the Application Form. Each Partner has his own individual budget, where all the necessary details must be provided.
- All supporting documents required must be scanned and uploaded in JEMS. Please note that the Project Statement and the Project Partner Statements are annexes to the Application Form, and must be filled in, signed by the legal representatives of the partners, stamped (if necessary, according to the relevant legal provisions in force), and uploaded into JEMS. Please check pages 47-49 of the Call Guidelines for the list of supporting documents.
