The LIFE Calls for proposals 2024 are expected to be published on the Funding & tender opportunities portal on 18 April 2024. 

CINEA will hold virtual information sessions from 23 to 26 April 2024 to guide potential applicants through the LIFE Calls for proposals 2024. All relevant information concerning the event, including the programme, the details for registration and for virtual networking, can be found here. See the LIFE YouTube channel for previous recordings.  

 

 

The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. Created in 1992, it has co-financed thousands of projects. The LIFE programme 2021-2027 is managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and has a budget of €5.4 billion and is divided into four sub-programmes:

  • Nature and biodiversity
  • Circular economy and quality of life
  • Climate change mitigation and adaptation
  • Clean energy transition

Registrations for the information sessions from 23 to 26 April 2024 will open on 8 April.

During registration, you will set up your  profile. All profiles will be published online and will be for everyone to see. You can update your profile any time.

Contacting your National Contact Point (NCP)

Your national contact point (NCP) for the LIFE programme can help you with your application and organise information/networking events and proposal writing workshops. You can find more information here.

Networking and advising

Networking opportunities in the format of 1:1 bilateral virtual meetings among potential applicants and with representatives of National Contact Points (NCPs) are available during the period from 23 April to 30 September 2024.

  • You can identify them on the networking page and select them based them on areas of expertise.
  • Please, indicate the area and subject of your proposal in the meeting request.
  • Meeting requests have to be approved to be scheduled.

A number of representatives of National Contact Points (NCPs) will also be available for bilateral virtual meetings with potential applicants.
