Interreg Euro-MED supports projects, initiatives and policies related to climate change and the environment in line with the priorities and specific objectives set out by the European Commission for the Cohesion policy. 

Interreg Poland-Slovakia

The Cooperation programme addresses the most important cross-border challenges which are linked to the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy in the Polish-Slovak border region. Strategically, the programme will support the development of transport infrastructure to improve cross-border accessibility and provide easier access to TEN-T networks. At the same time, it will address environmental issues and promote effective and sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage.

Interregional Innovation Investments

The Interregional innovation investments instrument as part of the European Regional and Development Fund (ERDF) aims at supporting interregional innovation projects in their commercialisation and scale-up phases giving them the tools to overcome regulatory and other barriers and bring their project to investment level.

Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance

The general objective of the IPA III instrument is to support the beneficiaries in adopting and implementing the political, institutional, legal, administrative, social and economic reforms required by those beneficiaries to comply with Union values and to progressively align to Union rules, standards, policies and practices with a view to Union membership, thereby contributing to their stability, security and prosperity.

Interreg Romania-Bulgaria

The Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, financed through  the European Regional Development Fund, aims  to improve the Romanian-Bulgarian border area in the 2021-2027 period.

The Programme's aim is to improve coordination and cooperation in the SI-AT border area to reduce border obstacles and unleash the potentials for a resilient and competitive region.

Interreg Bavaria-Czech Republic

The programme INTERREG Bavaria-Czechia 2021-2027 supports cross-border cooperation between Bavaria and the Czech Republic. Funding is provided for innovative Bavarian-Czech projects that contribute to the dismantling of barriers, mutual understanding and networking among citizens and at the same time to improving the quality of life.

Interreg Bulgaria-Türkiye

The Interreg - IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme is designed in the framework of the European strategy for a smart, inclusive and sustainable growth and the relevant national strategic documents. The Programme is co-financed by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance II and the two partnering countries Bulgaria and Turkey.

Interreg Bulgaria-Serbia

INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria-Serbia 2021-2027 is a cross-border cooperation programme with the aim to strengthen the territorial cohesion of the cross-border region Bulgaria-Serbia by providing framework support to local businesses for growth and expansion, for better performance in a greener and smarter competitive global market, supporting enterprises through direct production investments to increase productivity and support joint actions to prevent the risk of natural and man-made hazards through inter-institutional coordination for risk prevention and rapid response management, harmonization of procedures and approaches, and preparation of citizens for disaster response.

 

Interreg Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro

The Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro will support cross-border cooperation between the participating countries in the upcoming programming period 2021-2027. Expected Programme results will contribute to reaching the goals set by the European Green Deal and underlined by the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Interreg Hungary-Slovakia

The programme Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary aims at the joint protection, development and touristic utilization of the border regions' common natural and cultural heritage. This includes joint water management, disaster avoidance, the creation of the right conditions for the renewal of cultural and architectural heritage and the development of cross-border sustainable tourism.

Interreg Bulgaria-North Madedonia

The INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria - North Macedonia 2021-2027 programme is a cross-border cooperation programme aiming to strengthen the territorial cohesion in the cross-border region between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia by providing support for increasing the competitiveness of SMEs and laying the foundations for the creation of cross-border value chains (cooperative cross-border markets), improving mobility and connectivity in the region with the construction of border crossings to deal with the growing traffic of people and goods between the two countries, as well as supporting joint actions to protect the environment and protect the biodiversity of the cross-border region that combine protection and conservation or focus on sustainable solutions for the protection of biological diversity and development of green infrastructure.

Interreg Hungary-Serbia

Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary Serbia is an initiative implemented within the 2021-2027 European Union financial framework, under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). The main aim of the Programme is to foster and encourage the harmonious cross-border development of the region, by co-financing great ideas by non-profit organizations from the Programme’s territory.

URBACT IV

For the period 2021-2027, URBACT IV builds on the legacy of past Programmes and includes even more opportunities for cities to make positive change. The current Programme integrates the crosscutting EU priorities of digital, green and gender-equal policy-making into its activities.

The Directorate General for Communication of the European Parliament (EP) will award grants in the area of communication to advance public awareness of the European Parliament's role in our lives delivering democracy, increase civic participation and mobilise voters in the European Elections 2024 (EE24).

Innovation Fund

The Innovation Fund is one of the world’s largest funding programmes for the demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies. The Innovation Fund provides grants for projects aiming at commercial deployment of innovative low-carbon technologies, with the objective of bringing to the market industrial solutions to decarbonise Europe and support its transition to climate neutrality.

Interreg Greece-Bulgaria

The Interreg Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria  is a cross-border cooperation programme aims at promoting cross border cooperation by bringing together the different actors of the cross border area, in order to strengthen the development of the region and its transformation into a centre for sustainable development.

Interreg Slovenia-Croatia

The Interreg SI-HR programme supports cross-border cooperation between Slovenia and Croatia in the programming period 2021-2027.

Interreg IPA South Adriatic "Italy-Albania-Montenegro"

Interreg IPA South Adriatic "Italy-Albania-Montenegro" is a programme aiming to promote economic growth and intensify cooperation in the low Adriatic area, by implementing joint actions between national and regional institutional and not-for-profit actors and by fostering smart, inclusive and sustainable development.

Interreg Czechia-Poland

The cooperation programme Interreg V-A in the Czech Republic and Poland  addresses the most important cross-border challenges and taps into the potential of eight Czech-Polish border regions.

Interact IV

Interact holds an enabling role among territorial cooperation programmes. It provides services free of charge to Interreg, Interreg-IPA CBC and ENI CBC stakeholders.

Interreg Slovakia-Czechia

The aim of the Interreg Czechia-Slovakia programme is to address the common challenges of cross-border regions through joint cross-border projects.

Interreg Croatia-Serbia

The Interreg Croatia-Serbia IPA programme aims to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the cross-border area through the implementation of joint projects and activities.

IPA III Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro

The Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027 will be implemented within the framework of IPA III. Its general goal is to contribute to the improvement of good neighbourly relations and the promotion of sustainable, dynamic, strong and connected communities.

Interreg Aurora

Interreg Aurora is a Programme in the European Union Interreg community for cross-border cooperation in 2021-2027. The Programme offers great opportunities and enables new and exciting cross-border cooperation in the northernmost parts of Europe and Sápmi. The Interreg Aurora has a unique feature, the Programme is integrated with Sápmi and the indigenous Sami people. The overall goal of the Interreg Aurora Programme 2021-2027 is to encourage cross-border collaboration and thereby strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability and attractiveness of the Programme area through social inclusion, digitalisation and green transition.

Pilot Projects and Preparatory Actions (PPPAs)

Pilot projects and preparatory actions (PPPAs) are new initiatives that might turn into EU funding programmes. Pilot projects are designed to test the feasibility of an action, and last not more than 2 years. Preparatory actions last for up to 3 years, and are often the successor of a successful pilot project. They are designed to prepare new EU policies, legislation, programmes etc.

Driving Urban Transitions Partnership (DUT)

The DUT Partnership steps up the game to tackle urban challenges. Through research and innovation and capacity building, it enables local authorities and municipalities, service and infrastructure providers, and citizens to translate global strategies into local action. It develops the skills and tools to make urban change happen and boost the urgently needed urban transformations towards a sustainable future with enhanced quality of life in cities.

Sustainable Transition to the Agile and Green Enterprise

STAGE is a unique support mechanism, co-funded by the European Commission, helping enterprises with sustainability reporting and investment readiness.

Cohesion Fund

The Cohesion Fund provides support to Member States with a gross national income (GNI) per capita below 90% EU-27 average to strengthen the economic, social and territorial cohesion of the EU.

Common Agricultural Policy

Union Civil Protection Mechanism Funds

The EU Civil Protection Mechanism aims to put in place a reinforced and more ambitious crisis management system within the EU. It also aims to support, coordinate or supplement the actions of EU Member States in the prevention of, preparedness for, and response to disasters.

Interreg Baltic Sea Region

Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2021-2027 creates suitable framework conditions in the region for supporting the transition towards greener and more resilient societies and economies through transnational cooperation. The Programme is demand-driven and support public authorities in meeting the needs of their target groups (e.g. companies and communities). Transfer of knowledge is an important component of transnational activities in all policy objectives. Future projects support capacity building to increase public awareness and behaviour-change.

Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic

The Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) programme is a funding initiative supported by the European Union and non-EU participating countries. The programme's main objective is to promote cooperation among communities in the northernmost parts of Europe and North Atlantic territories to address common challenges and opportunities.

Interreg Central Baltic Programme

The Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 is a EU cross-border cooperation programme. Its scope is to finance high quality projects with European Regional Development Funds that aim at solving common challenges together and across borders.

Interreg Poland-Ukraine

Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine 2021-2027 aims to support cross-border development processes in the borderland of Poland and Ukraine. As its predecessors, PL–UA Programme is directed at Polish and Ukrainian border regions and all non-profit oriented institutions coming from these regions.

Interreg North Sea

The Interreg North Sea Programme 2021-2027 supports cooperation to stimulate a green and sustainable future. It enables people across the North Sea Region to work together and bring their ideas to life. The programme covers the North Sea and adjacent territories.

Interreg South Baltic

The Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027 supports actions with the focus on economic, environmental, and social development, natural and cultural heritage, and cooperation of different actors in the area are supported by the Programme foremost aiming above all at improving the quality of life of its residents through the blue and green growth of the area.

Western Balkans Info Hub

The Western Balkans Info Hub is powered by the EU-funded project POLICY ANSWERS. It provides information related to Research and Innovation (as well as Education, Culture, Youth and Sports) covering the Western Balkans.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 1 - Health

Cluster 1 "Health" of the Horizon Europe program includes many topics from health research. Projects cover the entire spectrum of the research and innovation cycle as far as possible and should also contribute to the implementation of research results in healthcare.

Interreg Brandenburg-Poland

The INTERREG Brandenburg-Poland cooperation program serves to promote cross-border cooperation. The aim of the program is to overcome border-related disadvantages and thus make a contribution to European integration.

Interreg Mecklenburg-Vorpommern- Brandenburg- Poland

The Interreg VI A Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027 cooperation program was set up as part of the European Union's territorial cooperation objective and supports cross-border cooperation covering a wide range of topics, for example in tourism, education, culture, health, civil protection, police and customs.

Interreg Poland-Saxony

The Interreg Poland - Saxony 2021-2027 cooperation program supports cross-border cooperation projects within the framework of the "European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg)" objective, which promote the further development of the Saxon-Polish border region and the growing together.

Interreg Lithuania-Poland

The overall objective of the Interreg VI-A Lithuania-Poland 2021-2027 Cross-border Cooperation Programme is improving wellbeing of cross-border communities through cross-border cooperation and sustainable use of cultural and natural heritage of the Lithuania and Poland cross-border area.

Interreg Estonia-Latvia

The Estonia-Latvia programme is a cross-border cooperation programme that is implemented under the European territorial cooperation goal (Interreg). Its mission is to support sustainable and innovative ideas that help border regions in Estonia and Latvia to grow through neighbourly cooperation. 

Interreg Latvia-Lithuania

The objective of the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2021–2027 is to contribute to the sustainable and cohesive socioeconomic development of the Programme regions by helping to make them more competitive and attractive for living, studying, working and visiting.

Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak

The EU programme Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak aims to invest €140 million, in cross-border projects that solve common societal challenges in southern Scandinavia, for the programme period 2021-2027.

Interreg Sweden-Norway

The aim of the Interreg Sweden-Norway 2021-2027 program is to promote a smarter, greener, more social and stronger border region and thus support the sustainable development and transition to an attractive border region without border barriers.

Interreg Germany-Denmark

The programme Interreg Deutschland-Danmark promotes cross-border cooperation between Germany and Denmark, fostering the growth of the region in the areas of economics, employment, education, tourism and culture by funding cross-border innovative projects that want to create positive change for the German-Danish cooperation.

Horizon Europe: Missions

The EU Missions are bold, inspiring and highly visible projects for citizens, demonstrating the added value of European investment in research and innovation. They are a new way to bring concrete solutions to some of our greatest challenges. EU Missions have ambitious goals that are time-bound, realistic, measurable and targeted and will deliver concrete results by 2030.

Rooted in research and innovation, missions aim to tackle societal challenges with systemic solutions, leading to societal transformations and social impact.

 

European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund

The European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) runs from 2021 to 2027 and supports the EU common fisheries policy (CFP), the EU maritime policy and the EU agenda for international ocean governance. It provides support for developing innovative projects ensuring that aquatic and maritime resources are used sustainable.

Interreg Hungary-Croatia

The Cooperation programme Interreg Hungary-Croatia focusses on smart and sustainable growth in the Hungarian-Croatian border region, by reinforcing and expanding existing cooperation networks and contributing to the establishment of a sound basis for a dynamic and lasting cooperation across the border.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 2 - Culture, Creativity and Inclusive society

The activities in Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society" are primarily aimed at researchers and applicants from the humanities, social and cultural sciences and the arts. Projects on the various topics in this cluster make an innovative and application-oriented contribution to important and forward-looking research and social issues in Europe.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 3 - Civil security for society

The cluster "Civil Security for Society" supports the implementation of EU policy priorities in the areas of security, cyber security and civil protection. The aim is to provide new knowledge and innovation to help responders and managers manage and prevent criminal activities, terrorist threats, cyber threats and crises and disasters.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 5 - Climate, Energy and Mobility

An ambitious goal of the EU is to be climate neutral by 2050. Measures of the "Climate, Energy and Mobility" cluster will contribute significantly to this. Research and innovation projects in this cluster should bring significant added value for the population.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 6 - Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

The goal of research, development and innovation in Cluster 6 is to expand knowledge, build capacity and develop innovative solutions in these relevant areas. This includes, above all, the transition to a sustainable circular economy and the use of natural resources, as well as food security for all.

Horizon Europe: Cluster 4 - Digital, Industry and Space

Digitalisation and technological progress are shaping all areas of the economy and society and influencing industrial development - including space research. Cluster 4 "Digitisation, Industry and Space" of Horizon Europe supports digital as well as key industrial and space technologies that are of strategic importance for Europe's industrial future. The aim is to build a resilient, green and digital Europe.
